Learn how to solve an inequality with this video. REACH ALL YOUR STUDENTS WITH THESE SUPPORTS! DIFFERENTIATE! ESL & ELL STUDENTS WILL ALSO FOLLOW ALONG! Anyone can learn how to solve an inequality. Some people need more supports to master this skill.  When I teach "solving an inequality", I use visuals and steps for any students who are falling behind. I also use these supports for my ESL & ELL students who may not understand English, but they do understand how to follow along with the visuals.  Check out the video below from my youtube channel, SimpleVisualMath,  which explains how to solve an inequality using visuals.   When solving inequalities, I explain that we will use the same steps as solving equations (with a few exceptions where we must change the inequality symbol). I noticed that after solving, students get confused about whether to use an open or closed circle and which direction to shade. I explain all of this in the video above from my y...

Learn how to graph a solution to an inequality on a number line. (Using visuals and graphic organizers will help students who need help and teachers who need to reach their students.) Watch the video below from my channel to help you understand "how to graph a solution to an inequality on a number line". Teaching algebra can be challenging for some teachers when some of their students are not understanding the math. Some students need visuals, steps, and extra supports in order to feel confident when learning math.  I spent time creating worksheets and videos for students to master this skill of "graphing a solution to an inequality on a number line". I saw some of my students grasped the concept immediately while others were struggling. I knew they needed some more supports to master this skill. CONCLUSION:   I created worksheets and videos to use which were unique because they provided visuals and supports which my students needed. Click on the links   here to ch...

Learn how to Divide Fractions with KCR! Includes visuals to help you master this skill(see video below)!          Teacher and homeschooling resources!  Dividing fractions using KCR involves 3 steps: K is for KEEP THE FIRST FRACTION C is for CHANGE TO MULTIPLICATION R is for take the RECIPROCAL of the 2nd fraction I have been teaching for more than a decade. When I teach "division of fractions using KCR", I tell my students to write K, C, R under the division problem.  I use unique math worksheets which I have created to help my students who are visual learners or need extra supports.  Watch the video below in which I explain how to divide KCR using visuals, steps, and prompts.  CONCLUSION: Click on the links   here to check out the unique worksheets I created with visuals and supports.      CLASSFUL        teachers pay teachers Check out the video below from my channel which explains how to divide ...

Learn how to evaluate algebraic Expressions Step by step! INCLUDES VISUALS!

LEARN HOW TO EVALUATE ALGEBRAIC EXPRESSIONS WITH THIS VIDEO(see below)! INCLUDES VISUALS AND STEPS! When I taught evaluating algebraic expressions, some of my students had trouble with knowing which operations to use. They forgot that a variable "attached" to a number such as 3m means to MULTIPLY.  Another common error I have seen students make is to replace the variable with the number without doing any operations. For example, for 7m, m=3, students wrote 73 instead of doing 7 times 3.  The video below will help students with the steps of evaluating algebraic expressions.  CONCLUSION:   I created worksheets to use which were unique because they provided visuals and supports which my students needed. Click on the links here to check out the unique worksheets I created with visuals and steps to help my students master the basic skill of evaluating algebraic expressions.     CLASSFUL        teachers pay teachers Subscribe to my ...
