ARE YOUR STUDENTS STRUGGLING TO LEARN BASIC SKILLS IN ALGEBRA? In middle school when students learn about coefficients, variables, and constants and need to learn how to combine like terms, they might not even understand what like terms are. I have been teaching for over a decade using common core standards. Especially with the pandemic causing my students to miss learning, I have noticed that my students are missing the required prerequisites needed. I am required to teach on grade level, yet my students need to feel confident in my math classes and need to master the skills.
